Springtime brings the energy of a new beginning.
If you’ve been feeling heavy, down, blocked, or stuck, this is such a beautiful time of year to intentionally begin again.
The time change has really been difficult for me this year. My mind and body just do not want to get on board with the new time, and I’ve been feeling it every morning.
Have I mentioned that I hate being tired? I equate it with being sick. So this week has felt hard.
But even in the middle of that, I still chose my spiritual morning routine as a way to get centered and feel better. And on day three of feeling depleted, I declared it my official Reset.
And you know something?
It really shifted my perception and helped me move through the block.
During meditation, this question came up:
Where are my habits taking me?
That hit me like a rock.
Because what we do consistently is paving the road to our future.
Where are your habits taking you?
And that future can be abundant, healthy, peaceful, and fun.
Or not.
Have you ever stopped to think about that?
Where are your habits leading you?
It can be a confronting question, especially when you know you’re doing something that isn’t in alignment with where you want to go… or who you want to become.
So then the deeper question becomes:
Who am I becoming?
Is it who I want to be?
Or am I headed in a different direction?
Small Choices Shape Your Next Chapter
On that reset day, I could feel that I was drifting off course. At first, that felt disappointing. But then I reminded myself of something important:
My habits are my choice.
And I can choose differently today.
That one new choice can gently shift the direction of my path.
And tomorrow I can do the same.
And the day after that.
And the day after that.
It really is that simple.
Not always easy.
But simple.
It’s about intentionally choosing the things that are in direct alignment with where you want to go.
So I did that on day four.
And you know what?
It worked.
I felt so much better.
Part of that was emotional — I was doing something I knew was good for me and for my future self.
And part of it was physical — it genuinely improved my energy and perspective.
Now I have evidence.
Now I have proof.
Will I do it again today?
That’s the plan.
Real Change Begins With a Reset
And this is one of the things we touched on in the Design Your Next Decade masterclass too: your next chapter is not created in one giant leap. It’s shaped by the small choices you make over and over again. The habits you practice. The thoughts you repeat. The way you care for yourself when life nudges you off course. Real change begins when you pause, reset, and choose again with intention.

And if this message is meeting you at exactly the right time, I created something to help.
My free download, The Reset, is a simple morning practice to help you come back to yourself, reset your energy, and begin the day with more calm and intention.

You Can Begin Again
When life has a vote — and it always does — be kind to yourself.
You can begin again tomorrow.
Gently, but with focused intention.
This is your life.
You should enjoy the moments.
Don’t make it so hard.
Lighten up.
Smile.
And remind yourself that peace, love, and happiness are still here for you.
You can choose them.
And when you need a reset, take it.
Don’t beat yourself up.
Trust that the reset is part of the path, not proof that you’ve failed.
Sometimes it’s the very thing that gives you the energy, calm, and balance you need to move forward again with grace and confidence.
You Can Emerge Positive!
Positively,
Deanne
